Mrs. Linda Gayle Mills, 68, of Bimble, passed away Thursday morning, February 6, 2014 at the LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville, TN. She was a daughter of the late James William Jordan and Nola Alley Jordan Whitaker born on December 14, 1945 in Pineville.

Mrs. Mills was a retired school teacher from Flat Lick Elementary School and a member of the First Baptist Church of Barbourville. She was a graduate of both Middlesboro High School and Union College. She was a member of the Red Hatters and was "Super Nana" to her grandchildren.

On August 30, 1968, she united in marriage with Larry E. Mills in Middlesboro and to this union two children were born.

Survivors include her husband, Larry E. Mills of Bimble; two sons, Darren Mills and wife, Loretta, of Swan Pond and Devin Mills of Bimble; a sister, Joyce Marie Jordan Delozier of Barbourville; a brother, James Victor Jordan and wife, Tommie Sue, of London; three grandchildren, Abigail, Jada Elizabeth and Bryleigh Mills; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins including two special nieces, Dana Delozier Langford and Paige Delozier Davison; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted at the First Baptist Church of Barbourville Saturday, February 8 at 7 P.M. with Rev. Shane Nickell and Rev. Dennis Chesnut officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be John Mahan, Cameron Mills, Collier Mills, David Mills, Steve Partin, James Jordan and Darrin Hensley.

Friends may call at the church Saturday after 3 P.M. until the funeral hour.
