Lamesa (Special) - Services for M. E. Boren, 87, of Lamesa, will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church here with the Rev. Bob Metzger officiating. Masonic graveside rites will be at Lamesa Memorial Park under direction of Brandon Funeral Home. He died Wednesday at Heritage Nursing Home here. The retired bank had lived in Dawson County for 55 years. He had been a member of Masonic Lodge 909 for 50 years. He was a Methodist. He married Ruby Letcher in 1920. She died in 1932. He married Caryl Lewis in 1936. She died in 1977. Survivors include two daughters, Helen Curry of Sun City, Ariz., and Dorothy Sharb of Lubbock; three sisters, Mrs. W. F, Mathis and Mrs. Virgie Wills, both of Fluvanna, and Mrs. J. C. Ross of Lubbock; a brother, Cecil of Snyder; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
