Funeral Notice
Parks, Esther Frances, age 96, passed away at St. Mary's Hospice, November 25, 1901. She was born near Platte City, Missouri on July 10, 1905 and grew up on a farm in that area. After graduation from high school and taking classes at a Kansas City Business College, she was employed as a secretary for five years before she married her husband of 40 years, James C. Parks, in January 1930. He passed away in 1970. She continued living alone in Missouri until moving to Houston, Texas in 1983 to be nearer family members. She moved to Tucson in 1995 and lived at the Manor at Midvale for the final six years of her life. She maintained membership in the Central Christian Church n Moberly, Missouri. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; a grandson and wife and a great-granddaughter; one sister and three nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Manor at Midvale at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30. Burial will take place at a later date beside her husband in The Garden of the Last Supper Memorial Park Cemetery in Moberly, Missouri. We miss her, but rejoice in knowing she had 96 good years.
