Buried Yesterday
Mrs. Emma Parks, who died this week at her home, in Salisbury, after a brief illness, was buried at that place yesterday. She was formerly Emma Clark, and resided in this city. "Dad" Clark, the veteran engineer of the Columbia branch, is her father and Mrs. Payne Karnes, of Johnson street, her sister. Her death at her early age is particularly sad and the deep sympathy of the community goes out to the relatives in their great bereavement.
