Emma Hattie Bair, 85, passed away February 24, 2014, at Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson.

She was born January 27, 1929, in Hitchins, KY., to the late Rand and Rebecca Murphy Boggs.

She was a former office manager for Danny Howard, D.D.S. and a member of the Eastside Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Bair, four sisters, Margaret Louise Boggs, Belva Shepard, Martha Belle Boggs, and Essa Mae Issacs, four brothers, Hughie, Sanford Ran, Fred Tryee ,John "Blackie" Boggs, and a granddaughter, Tammy Spillman.

She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca "Skippie" (Bernard) Jackson of Grayson, and Minnie Sue (Danny) Howard of Grayson, one son, Larry (Cammie) Bair of Grayson, one sister, Minnie Womack of Grayson, six grandchildren, Becky (Darrell) Lewis, Gary (Kelly) Spillman, Kevin Bair, Curt (Beth) Bair, Larae (Scott) Williams, and Candy (Pier Paolo) Claudio, nine great-grandchildren, Anthony (Vanessa) Glancy, Nicole (Redd) Vance, Tyler Back, Kyle Bair, Marcada Back, Carley Claudio, Franco Claudio, Marlee Bair and Curby Bair; four great-great-grandchildren, Reagan Glancy, Addie Vance, Allison Glancy, and Karson Back.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2014, at Sparks Funeral Home. Burial will be Hillcrest Cemetery.
