Ruby Smith Patty age 88, of Sweetwater passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, at her home after a long illness surrounded by her family.
She was a member of East Sweetwater Freewill Baptist Church .
Ruby was preceded in death by her husbands, L.B. Smith and Obed Patty, son, Wayne Smith, grandson, Jeff Frady, her parents, Murrel and Willie Barnett, 3 brothers.
She is survived by her daughters, Luci Carroll and Larry Ezell of Sweetwater, Tiny and Dave Frady of Sylvia, N.C., Jeri Snipes of Sweetwater, Janet Smith of Sweetwater and Jon Foster of Northport, AL., 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 23 great- great grandchildren, sister, Chris Runyon brothers, Pete Barnett, Lloyd and Ernest Wiseman.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Sweetwater Memory Chapel.
The Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Chaplain Mike Justice officiating.
Graveside service and Interment 10:00 AM Wednesday, at Sweetwater Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
