Helen D. Sager, 86, of Syracuse died Tuesday at Francis House.
A native of Oneida, Mrs. Sager resided most of her life in Syracuse. She was employed several years with Sibley's Department Store and previously was employed with the former Easy Washer Co. She was a 1931 cum laude graduate of Syracuse University. Her husband, Leslie, died in 1988.
Mrs. Sager was a member of DeWitt Community Church, its Senior Ladies Group and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the Syracuse Power Squadron and a former skipper of its Squadronettes.
Surviving are three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a niece.
Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Fairchild & Meech DeWitt Chapel, the Rev. Edwin F. Taylor officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
Calling hours will be 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 3690 Erie Blvd. E.
