Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Sunday, October 4, at Faubion United Methodist Church; burial in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Gladstone, MO. Friends may call 3-4 p.m. Sunday, October 4, at Faubion United Methodist Church, Gladstone, MO 64118.
Mr. Smith was born in Kansas City, MO. He was a clerk/sorter for the U.S. Postal Service in North Kansas City. He was a six year Navy veteran, a Methodist, and Ham Radio Operator-(NOASL). He is survived by his parents, Billy L. Smith Sr. and Beatrice T. Smith , Kansas City, MO; three sisters and brothers-inlaw, Gail D. and David W. Krause, Weatherby Lake, MO, Debbie S. and Galen E. Wellesley, Dekalb, MO, and Lisa M. and Bram J.M. Wijnands, Kansas City, MO; two brothers and sisters-inlaw, Billy L. and Holly G. Smith Jr., Liberty, MO, and Dana M. and Linda S.
