MILLER Levi "Lee" Miller Jr., age 67, of Plain City, passed away suddenly Monday, October 5, 2009 in the Emergency Room at Doctors Hospital West, surrounded by his loving family. Born April 1, 1942 in Madison County. He was an active member of Sharon Mennonite Church. Owner and Operator of Lee Miller Excavating for 35 years. He followed in his father's foot steps by becoming a skilled and very competitive Horseshoe Pitcher. He also loved Shuffle Board and Golf. Preceded in death by his parents Levi M. and Anna (Kauffman) Miller, daughter Ann Maria Sweigart, brothers Oris and John, sister Mary Yoder. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Niva Jean (Byler) Miller, whom he married on June 2, 1962 in Hartville, Oh.; children, Anthony "Tony" (Tina) Miller of Plain City, Angie (Rick) Critchfield of Dublin, Darryl (Laura) Miller of Plain City; son-in-law, Lamar Sweigart of Plain City; 15 grandchildren and five great- grandchildren; brothers, Melvin Ray Miller, Mose L. (Pauline) Miller; sister, Sarah (Eli) Schrock, all of Sugar Creek; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Byler; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Sharon Mennonite Church, 7675 Amity Pike, Plain City where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday with Pastor Bob Yoder officiating.
