Anthony S. Spencer, age 39, of Gladys Street, Lucasville, Ohio, died 4:09 P.M. Thursday at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth. He was born August 14, 1974 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of the late Robert D. Spencer and Naomi Adkins Spencer. He was preceded in death by one son, Charles Wayne Spencer. He is survived by two sons, Robert Bryan Scott Spencer and Anthony Dowell "Tony" Spencer, one brother, Bobby Ray Spencer of McDermott, Ohio, and one sister, Ida "Christy" Hawes of Otway, Ohio. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 6, 2014 at Big Run Cemetery with Dean Penix officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements are under the direction of the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway.
