Mrs. Connie Gail McClure age 58, passed away Sunday June 8, 2014 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital. She was born on January 13, 1956 in Rockcastle County the daughter of the late James C. "Scrap Iron" and Anna Barnett Hayes. She was a housewife, and attended the Northside Baptist Church.

Survivors are: her husband; Shirley McClure of Mt.Vernon. One step-son; Dean McClure of Mt.Vernon. Three step-daughters; Gloria Day of Mt.Vernon, and Charlotte and Shelia McClure both of Brodhead. Two brothers; Ray Hayes of Mt.Vernon, and Barry Hayes of Brodhead. One sister; Jackie Bullock and husband Gordon of Brodhead. Eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews also survive.
