On Nov. 3, 1765 in the Stepney Parish (Rocky Hill) Church records at Wethersfield, Elizabeth is called the widow Rockwell, followed two weeks later on Nov. 17, 1765 with the baptism of son Thomas Rockwell. On Jan. 1, 1768 at Rocky Hill Elizabeth's father John Robbins wrote his will naming her as his dau. Elizabeth Rockwell.
On June 27, 1768 at the Stepney Parish (Rocky Hill) Church the widow Elizabeth Rockwell m. 2) her 2nd cousin Solomon Belden (q.v. Belding), s. of Josiah Belden and Mabel Wright, b. May 22, 1722 at Wethersfield. He d. intestate at Wetherfield Jan. 6, 1776, Æ 54 (Ch. Rec.) They had three children born of record at Wethersfield - Hannah, Solomon and Stephen - who are directly or indirectly named in the probate of Solomon's estate at Wethersfield (Hart. Prob. Dist.; 22:130, 136.) According to the church records, Solomon was buried Jan. 7, 1776, but he has no apparent known gravestone.
On June 15, 1778 at the Newington Parish Church at Wethersfield (Ch. Rec.), the widow Elizabeth Belden m. 3) as his third wife, her 2nd cousin Dea. Jesse Churchill, s. of Ens. Samuel Churchill and Martha Boardman, b. Aug. 31, 1726 at Wethersfield. He d. May 7, 1806 at Wethersfield, Æ 80 (g.s.) There are no known children of this last marriage.
What became of Elizabeth's four known children (Thomas Rockwell and half-siblings Hannah, Solomon and Stephen Belden) has not been traced by the writer.

Based on her recorded date of birth (Feb. 11, 1737/8) at Wethersfield, on the day Elizabeth died she was 56 years old, and Ætatis suæ (i.e., Æ, "Aged," in the XX year of her Age) 57, not 58 as purportedly inscribed.
