James Junior "Jr" Johnson was born August 28, 1960, in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. He was 53, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 in a motorcycle accident in Charlotte, North Carloina.
He was a self-employed handyman.
Junior is survived by his loving wife Rise' Ward and son Joshua Johnson (Andrea Masseau) of Lansing, Michigan, daughter Amber Hogan (Chad ) of Holton, Michigan, stepdaughter Megan Vanhoose (Larry) of Waynesfield, Ohio, stepson Brandon Paugh (Katrina) of Charlotte, NC, nephew Robert Sons of Charlotte, NC and niece Emily Ward of Charlotte, NC, sisters Tresa (Rick)Grossman of Charlotte, NC, Mary Sue (Mark) Poe of Matthews, NC, Norma Cole (Scott) of Blissfield, MI and Penny (David ) McWhirter of Eaton Rapids, MI and three grandchildren Logan, Addison and Kaycee, His father James Johnson of Eaton Rapids, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his mother Elsie Johnson and numerous other relatives. He was deeply loved and will by greatly missed.
A celebration of life will be held 2pm Saturday, June 21, 2014 with Pastor Dallas McFarland officating at Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, 518 South Main Street, Eaton Rapids. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
