Parents were Robert Sheffy "Sheff" Little and Sarah Ellen Mills. Both parents were buried at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Bluewell, Mercer Co, West Virginia. Sheff and Sarah had five girls, Beulah was their first child.
Beulah was a life long resident of Coaldale, and was a retired nurse formerly employed by Bluefield Sanitarium for 45 years. She was a graduate of Elkhorn High School, Bluefield Sanitarium Nursing School and Roanoke Nursing School. Rain or shine or snow, Beulah would walk miles around Coaldale Mt to catch the bus at Blizzard's on Rt 52 to go to work the night shift at Bluefield Sanitarium.
