Darlene Fay Stimeling Jones, Funeral services for Darlene Fay Stimeling Jones, 63, of Orlando, Fla., were held at the First Baptist Church in Orlando. She died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000 in Orlando. Born May 8, 1936 in Carlisle, she is the daughter of Margaret Stimeling of Carlisle and the late Rev. Roy Stimeling.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Ernest Jones of Orlando, Fla.; a son, Keith Lay of Salem, Ore.; a daughter, Kimberly Lay of Salem, Ore.; five brothers, Paul Stimeling, Gerald Stimeling and Jacob Stimeling, all of Florida, James Stimeling of Delaware and Joseph Stimeling of Carlisle; four sisters, Retta Williams of Florida, Mary McCoy of Delaware, Phyllis Kane of Loysville and Naomi McKillip of Carlisle; and three grandchildren.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Newville. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is handling the arrangements.
