Billie Rodger Collum married Zonya Dae Redfearn on October 24, 1953 in Belle Plaine, Benton County, Iowa.
He owned and operated bakeries in Grinnell Iowa and Hampton, Iowa where he decorated ward winning cakes. He owned and operated a motel in Creston, Iowa. He retired and moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas in 1977.
He is survived by his wife Zonya Collum of Bella Vista, Arkansas; two daughters Rev. Debra Wells and her husband William Well of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Delona Whitten and her husband John Whitten of Ankeny, Iowa; three sons Dann Collum and his wife Pamela of Portland, Oregon; Dennis Collum and his wife Delia of Minot, North Dakota; and Darren Collum and his wife Jennifer of Bellevue, Nebraska; one daughter-in-law Michelle Collum of Stapeles, Minnesota; two brothers Robert Collum and his wife Delores of Belle Plaine, Iowa; and Don Collum and his wife Rosie of Cedar Falls, Iowa; two sisters Mary Ellen Blomme and her husband Vernon Blomme , and Nancy Eichhorn and her husband Charles Blomme all of Belle Plaine, Iowa; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were at Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas.
