James E. Hill, 69, of Memphis, retired salesman for King Kitchen Distributing Co., died of heart failure Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East. Services will be a 1 p.m. Friday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memorial Park. He was a World War II veteran, an Oley Foundation regional coordinator volunteer for home parenteral and eternal nutrition and received the 1995 Life Line Award. Mr. Hill, the husband of Carlene Anderson Hill for 45 years, also leaves a daughter, Shelley Harwell of Nashville, and two grandsons. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Oley Foundation in Albany, N.Y.
