Born in Joliet, IL, a daughter of John R. Trubich Sr. and Gladys E. educated at St. Paul school and St. Francis Academy, Joliet, IL. She worked in the medical and dental field for many years in her young life. She also for many years shared in cooking at the former "Shortleys Corner" with her best friend Denise Kolenc. Betty also enjoyed 12 years of delighting us all in being our "Avon Lady".
Her most cherished time in her life was raising her own family, and sharing herself with so many of her family and friends as our daycare sitter. Her home was open for 30 years each day nurturing her nephews, nieces, great nieces, great nephews, grand daughter and countless friends children. "Auntie Bee" was the best babysitter ever. She is so heartfully missed by everyone that her sweet heart touched. Her vibrant sense of humor, love, joy and giving ways will carry on forever in all our hearts.
Survived by her beloved husband and best friend, Bill D. Molin for 40 years. Two loving daughters, Kimberly Modlin of Plainfield, IL, and Sally Eckert; and son-in-law, Mark Eckert of Crest Hill, IL. One very special granddaughter, Alexis Nicole Modlin. Also survived by her siblings, Donna M. Raub (Harold) of Shorewood, IL, Nancy A. LaCloche (James) of Joliet, IL and John R. Trubich Jr. (fianc Jan MaGee) of Kitty Hawk, NC. Also survived by many very special loving nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and godsons. Her good friends, Denise Kolenc and Jeanne Warsaw and her lil best canine companion "Sophia".
Preceded in death by her loving parents John R. Trubich, Sr. and Gladys E. of Joliet, IL; along with her loving in-laws, J.P Modlin and Ganeva of Plainfield, IL. Her dear sister-in-law and cherished friend, Linda DeBerry; brother-in-law, Eric Modlin; and special great niece, Linda Louise DeBerry.
Visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd. on Thursday, September 4, 2014, from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
