Michael Paul Rouhotas, Sr. was born August 6, 1959 at Loma Linda Hospital in Riverside, California. The son of Joan and Marvin Rouhotas, Sr. was raised in Brawley, California. He graduated from Brawley High School and attended Berean Bible School to become a licensed minister. Michael served as an associate pastor for 15 years and senior pastor for 15 years in his 30 years in ministry. In that time he was also a marriage and family counselor. His passion was teaching the uncompromising Word of God. Michael's favorite hobbies were scuba diving, boating, hunting, and horseback riding. Michael was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather.
Michael was married to his first wife Carolyn Stidham, daughter of Ann and Carl Stidham, on November 24, 1979 for 10 years before preceding him in death. They had two children, Michael Paul Rouhotas Jr. and Joshua Michael Rouhotas. Michael remarried on February 16, 1991 to Leilani Buckingham, daughter of Dale and Cellus Buckingham. They were married for 23 years.
Michael went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 10, 2014 at 1:30 p.m to live for evermore. We are looking forward to seeing him again, soon. He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, daughter-in-law, and 2 grandchildren.

A message from Mike's family , Mike was told back in February that he was in stage 4 Kidney cancer , he fought the biggest battle he would ever endure , but the cancer won out , Mike passed away on Wednesday September 10th 2014 with a big smile on his face, with his family all around him. We will miss him, but know he is with his Lord and Savior who he devoted his life to while he was here.
