He was a Disabled American Veteran of the Korean War, where he was one of the few in his unit that survived, a Purple Heart recipient, retired from Thomas L. Green Corp. and a Baptist.
Survivors are 3 brothers W.C. Wright, Indianapolis, IN, Damon Wright, Rye, AR, Jerry Adair, Rye, AR. 2 sisters Sybil Vinson, Rye, AR, Virginia Sullivan, Columbia, TN. 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death was a step son David Freeman and a brother Richard Wright.
Graveside service with military honors is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday September 30, at Enon Cemetery in Rye, AR by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday September 29, at Frazer's.
