Police Officer Michael Frey was only 29 when he passed away. He was responding to a call for help at the home of Richard Sacchi, Jr, but the call turned out to be an ambush & Sacchi shot him with a high powered rifle from a 2nd floor window of his home. The bullet went through an opening in PO Frey's bulletproof vest & he died instantly. A 12 hour standoff ensued.
