George H. Gardiner died at his home Thursday noon, January 27, 927.
Mr. Gardiner was the son of the late Thomas and Olive Carl Gardiner and was born in the town of Woodford, Canada October 4, 1844.
At the age of 21 he came to this country and located at Richland where he resided four months and then removed to Williamstown. On November 18, 1865 he was united in marriage to Sylvia Roland Hunt who died October 30, 1896. Six children were born to this union, all of whom survive their parents.
On March 12, 1898 he was married to Miss Anna Stagnar of Parish and moved to the farm west of the village.
Besides his widow he is survived by a son George, and five daughters; Mrs. W.N. ?? of Syracuse, Mrs. John ??, Mrs. Frank Howard, and Mrs. Arthur Newvine of New Haven, Mrs. Henry Jacobs of Mexico.
