Published in The Paducah Sun, Paducah, McCracken Co., Ky., 5 Sep 2001 - Services for Mary Jeanne King, 71, of South Fulton will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, Ky. The Rev. James Lawson and the Rev. Don Tabor will officiate. Burial will be Obion County Memorial Gardens in Union City.

Mrs. King, a native of Memphis, died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at Martin Healthcare Center in Martin.

She was a retired licensed practical nurse. She was a member of Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church and sang in the church choir.

Surviving are three daughters, Kathy Turner, Kay Newton and Cindy King; one sister, Pauline Thompson; one nephew, Mike Sullivan; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe King. Her parents were Claude and Lois McAlister Linton.
