WAPAKONETA - Harold C. Dick, 67, of here, died at 9:45. a.m. Thursday at his home. He was born Sept. 25, 1922, in Hammansburg, the son of Harley and Alice Thompson Dick. His mother survives in Findlay. On March 17, 1941, he married Ellen M. Neilsen who survives. Mr. Dick had been a harness horse trainer, driver and owner. He was a member of the United States Trotting Association, Ohio Disables American Association, Waynesfield, and Arcadia Church of God. He was also an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors also include a son, H. Richard Dick of Lima; two brothers, Elmer L. Dick of Britton, Mich,, and Robert Lee Dick of Cygnet; three sisters, Delores Haley of Swanton, Mrs. Allen (Bonnie) Gonyer of Portage, and Mrs. Carl (Etta Jane) Bruckner of Petersburg, Mich.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bayliff and Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, Pastor John R. Miller and Pastor Woodrow Smithson officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthew Cemetery. Friends may call until 4 and 7 to 9 tonight and after 10 a.m.
Saturday at the funeral home. The family will present for the visitation today. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita's Hospice Program.
