He was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served during WWII. He retired from General Motors after 37 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and most of all, learning.
He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Arthur Blankenship, Frank Blankenship and Nina Johnson.
He is survived by
his loving wife of 66 years, Bonnie Blankenship;
sister, Gertrude Elswick;
many other relatives and dear friends.
