John Dean, former resident of Big River, died at the Monomonie Hospital March 15, following a stroke. Mr. Dean had been in ill health for several years. He was 76 years of age.
Surviving are three sons, George, Irwin, and Louis of St. Paul; two daughters, Millie of St. Paul and Mrs. Leo Armbruster of Clifton and one sister, Mrs. Willard Mann of Prescott.
The remains were brought to the Halliday Undertaking Parlors a week ago Thursday and funeral services were the following morning at 9:00 a.m. from St. Mary's Church, Big River, Father Edwin Knauf officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
