Mrs. Rushie Mae Spyres, 76, a resident of Route 1, died yesterday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lon Cook, 310 Hart Street, in Springdale. She was born May 2, 1879, in Indiana. Survivors in addition to Mrs. Cook include another daughter, Mrs. Sada McElwain of Reno, Neva.; five sons, Oscar of Arbuckle, Calif., E. T. of California, Monroe, Tillman and William of the home; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Callison-Sisco Funeral Home are incomplete, but burial will be in the Elm Springs cemetery.
