Mr. Stambaugh was born Oct 26, 1950 in Johnson County, the son of Hobert Stambaugh and Jewell McKenzie Stambaugh.
Surviving are his mother; his wife, Emma Dutton Stambaugh; his grandmother, Cora McKenzie; one son, Walter E. Stambaugh, of Sitka; one daughter, Diana Susan Stambaugh, of Sitka; four brothers, Billy Gene Stambaugh, of Riceville, Bennie Dapwell Stambaugh of Volga, and Terry Glen Stambaugh and Timothy Hobert Stambaugh, both of Sitka; and five sisters, Wanda Couch and Rita Cantrell, both of Sitka, Diana Price of River, Sandy Stambaugh of Volga, and Sherry Conley of Oil Springs.
Funeral services will be held today Wednesday, July 12, 1989 in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Castle officiating.
Burial will be in Stambaugh Family Cemetery at Sitka.
