Mr. May was born May 8, 1924 in Johnson County, the son of the late Ballard
and Minnie Spradlin May. He was a retired miner and member of the United
Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife; two sons; two daughters; three brothers; four sisters and seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Funeral services were held March 23 in Fishtrap United Baptist Church at
Staffordsville with Elders Sammy Reed, Frankie Williams, Lonza Reed,
Rutherford Blair and Gene May officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
