Leslie G. Boustead, 86 years of Foxboro, died Monday Dec. 22, 2014, at Golden Living Center, Superior.
He was born July 26, 1928, in Renville, Minn., son of Donald and Sadie (Kirk )Boustead.
On July 2, 1951 in Carlton, Minn., Bonna Scott and Leslie Boustead were united in marriage.
Les honorably served his country with the United States Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on mechanical projects. His work history included crane operator and mechanic for various construction firms, logging and farming.
Preceding him in death were his parents, daughter, Patti; four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Bonna, daughter LIVING.; sons, LIVING; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister Nancy Kaseburg, Seattle, WA.; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10a.m. until the 11a.m. service Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Darrow Road Wesleyan church, Superior. Following the service everyone is invited to a luncheon at the church. The committal service will follow the luncheon and is scheduled for 2p.m. at Summit Cemetery, with military honors accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post 435.
