James Hershel Hall went home to his Lord on Jan.29,2006 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb.4th at the First Baptist Church in West, Texas. James and wife Jo,resided in Aquilla, Texas from 1987 to 2002 when they moved to Katy, Texas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in West, and Second Baptist Church of Huston. James, a devote Christian was loved by all and will be dearly missed. He shared his faith with many and was an inspiration to all who knew him. James is survived by his wife, three children, and five grandchildren.

James loved and wrote poetry.
