Donald Smith Adams, 73, of Hwy 460 E. West Liberty, Ky., loving husband of Shirley Howard Adams, passed away Monday, February 2, 2015, unexpectedly.
He was born September 29, 1941, in West Liberty, Ky., to the late George and Christine (Prater) Adams.
Donald was a member of the White Oak Christian Church, the White Oak Fire Department and the Elk Fork Lodge #755 F&AM and worked for the Morgan County Road Department.
Besides his parents, a brother, Bobby Adams and sister, Emily Adams Gross, preceded him in death.
Surviving is his wife, Shirley Howard Adams of Hwy 460 E. West Liberty, Ky., one daughter, Tina and (Rodney) Clemons of West Liberty, Ky., two sons, Chris and (Sandy) Adams of West Liberty, Ky., Paul and (Eleisha) Adams of Youngsville, NC., five grandsons, Aaron Adams, Darrin Adams, Brandon Adams, Ashton Adams and Adam Clemons, five granddaughters, Catherine Clemons, Montana Clemons, Caymn Clemons, Savanna
Adams and Destiny Adams.
Funeral services 1 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015, at the White Oak Christian Church, with Bro. Darrell Van Cleave and Pastor Jim Price officiating. Interment in the White Oak Cemetery, White Oak, Ketuucky.
Visitation 6 p.m. Wednesday at the White Oak Christian Church, White Oak, Ky., with the Masonic Rites starting at 7 p.m. by the Elk Fork Lodge #755 F&AM.
Pallbearers will be: Aaron Adams, Darrin Adams, Brandon Adams, Savanna Adams, Montana Clemons, Roger Prater
and Dean May.
