He is the 4th child of Joseph Thomas Swann and Edith Elizabeth Chesnutt. He is the widower of Mary Elizabeth Green Swann B: 25 May 1923 D: 04 Aug 1995. He retired from Southern States Cooperative as a warehouse man. He also operated the Swann's Barbershop in Amelia for many years until he was no longer able to do so.His daughter, Cleverin Swann Marshall B:19 May 1943. D:2011.She married Grady Marshall. He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted son, Lloyd Lorenzo "Ben" Swann and his wife Audrey of Richmond. Grandson Anthony "Tony" Marshall of Amelia; brother Leander Swann of Woodbridge, VA.; Many other relatives and friends. He passed away at Parham Health Care Center in Henrico County where he was also loved by all those who met him.
