Bailey, Bonnie J. (nee Bergman), age 63, of Custer Park, IL, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL. Born October 17, 1948 in Kankakee, IL to the late Howard and Helen (nee Bilyard) Anderson. Bonnie has been employed as a School Bus Driver for Reed-Custer School District since 1979. She has been a supporter of many groups, including ASPCA, Humane Society, Guide Dogs of America, Animal Legal Defense Fund, Disabled Veterans, and Kankakee Valley Hospice. Surviving are her children, Ronald (Dawn) Bailey of Custer Park; and Barbara Jean Bailey of Normal, IL; one brother, Sidney Howard (Tina) Bergman of Carmi, IL; two sisters, Connie Lynn Strand of TX and Donna Marie (Steve) Osenga of Bradley, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Eddie Eugene Bailey, whom she married March 1, 1970 in Bradley. -
