Zelma Ione Ward was the daughter of James Houston Secret Ward and Samantha Matilda Folds. She was the wife of Raymond Eugene Duke. They were married for 62 years and had 10 children. Nellie, Lois, Barbara, Sherman, Marvin, Faye, Brenda, Ivanette, Eloise and Freeman. She had many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. " Maw " or " Granny " as her grandchildren called her was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.She was a wonderful cook and many of the family get togethers were at their home.
