Ruth E. Jaberg, 89, of Wooster, Ohio, died Friday evening, August 17, 2001, at Westview Manor Nursing Home. She was born April 6, 1912, in Walnut Creek, Ohio to Edward and Anna (Flohr) Jaberg. Miss Jaberg retired after 38 years as an assemblyperson for Westinghouse Corporation. She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ and loved traveling, and gardening. She graduated from Beach City High School in 1930. Survivors include a niece and nephew-in-law, Carol and Clarence Musselman of Wooster, Ohio; a nephew and niece-in-law, Russell Edward and Sandra Jaberg of Shreve, Ohio; two great-nephews and their spouses, Christopher and Rachel Musselman of Wooster and Russell and Christina Jaberg of Mt. Eaton, Ohio; one great niece and her spouse, Amy and Jeff Cottrell of Shreve; and a number of great-great nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her parents, Edward and Anna Jaberg, and her brother, Flohr Jaberg, preceded her in death. Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to funeral services Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. Lon McSherley. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Johns United Church of Christ.
