He is survived by his wife, Mary Beth (Zimmerman) Nichols of Lamar; son, David Carl Nichols of Lamar; Mother, Charlcie Nichols of Lamar; sister, Maxine and Dwain Melson of Lamar; brother, Terry and Sharon Nichols of Lamar; mother-in-law, Doris Zimmerman; three brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; special nephews, Chris Melson and Joe Melson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
