Paul Fletcher Huber, son of Paul and Mary Huber, passed away on May 12, 2009. He was born and raised in Oak Ridge, TN. After moving to Atlanta, he graduated from Emory University and raised his own family. Fletcher worked for The Coca-Cola Company as a chemist and IT expert. After his retirement, he spent his time pursuing his many passions and joys. He was a man of few but well chosen words, yet it takes many to describe him. He expressed his strength and compassion primarily through gesture. He cherished his family as a great source of love and pride, supporting and guarding it fiercely. Fletcher was an artist, a scientist, an athlete, an adventurer, a writer, an inventive thinker with an active and creative mind, and an inspiration. He enjoyed the beauty and exploration of nature. He had a unique sense of humor and appreciation of the absurd. He was a man of peace and a man of action. He was free-spirited and a true individual. He strove to understand the universe, both practically and theoretically. He was a man of which legends are made. Survivors include his wife, Margaret, nee Lackey, of Oak Ridge, his daughter, Sunny, his two sons, Matthew and Erik, and his brother, Douglas. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Leslie. His nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors and admirers will also feel the impact of his passing. Fletcher touched our lives, souls and spirits and the world will not be the same without him.
