She was born in Brassfield, Kentucky on July 25, 1920 to Monroe and Ida Marie (Pearson) Turpin. Edna was a member of First Baptist Church 2nd St Franklin, OH. She was employed with Mound Labs for 26 years and retired in 1986.
She was preceded in death by her father, Monroe L. Turpin, mother, Ida Marie Turpin, husband, Hugh Edward Murray, brothers, Wilson Turpin and Harold Turpin.
Edna is survived by her four daughters, Judy (Greg) Stout, Sharon (Steve) Collett, Jennifer (Russ) Flinchum, Shelley (Steve) Foley; four granddaughters, Shauna Cotton, Aimee Pearson, Kelly Collett, Amber Renfrow; grandson, Matthew Murray; six great granddaughters, Makayla Cotton, Madison Cotton, Makenzie Cotton, Maleah Cotton, Mercedes Pearson, Annabelle Renfrow; four great grandsons, Clayton Cotton, Corbin Pearson, Gavin Renfrow, Kurtis Hugh Wolfe; brother, Franklin (Doris) Turpin; sister, Doris Turpin (Bill) Herrdon.
