Son of John Lovejoy Davis and Mary Jane Brown. Known wives were: Ada Augusta Rogers Eggleston Davis; and Walks Among The Clouds - of the Crow Nation - aka Margaret.
The Billings Evening News printed the news of marriage #4 to Ms. Eggleston in April 1907. Mr. Davis states that he had been married three time prior, two wives died and he was divorced from the first. He was given the nickname "Crow," somewhere along his journey.
His obituary states that he died in Saint Xavier, Big Horn County, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Dell Howe.
