PHILIP J. ANSPACH
Philip J. Anspach, 74, of Poughkeepsie, a former school bus driver for Lee Duke in Millbrook, died Saturday, July 27 at Vassar Hospital.
Born July 7, 1900 in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of John and Elizabeth (Lattin) Anspach. He was a member of the Community United Methodist Church and the SEIU-AFL-CIO.
Mr. Anspach retired in July, 1965,as a crane operator at Vassar College, where he had been employed for 15 years.
Surviving Mr. Anspach are his wife, the former Dorothy M. Decker, two sons, Philip E. and John, both of Poughkeepsie; 4 sisters, Mrs. Albert Doyle and. Mrs. Webster Coon, both of Red Hook, Mrs. Fred Hiller, East Greenbush, and Mrs. Edith Wager, Poughkeepsie; a grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Wednesday at the Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home.
