Mrs. Nita Norman Jones, age 58 of Pleasant View, TN and formerly of Wingo, KY died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
She was a member of the Old Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, and formerly worked as an Administrative Assistant for the SunTrust Bank.
Nita never met a stranger and she loved everyone. Her smile lit up a room and her eyes sparkled like blue diamonds. She had a wonderful connection to babies and little ones and to older folks. She will be sorely missed by the friends and family she leaves behind.
Nita is survived by her husband- Alan Jones of Pleasant View, TN, daughter- Valleri Dawn Miller of Nashville, TN, daughter- Jessica Rose Kroulek of Pleasant View, TN, brother- Charles Norman of Fulton, KY, and a sister- Macie Dean Jones of Glasgow, KY, five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo, KY. Friends may call Thursday, June 7, 2012 after 5:00 PM.
Burial will follow the service on Friday in the Pinson Cemetery near Wingo, KY. A Memorial Service for Nita will also be held at the Green Hills Senior Center, 2001 Woodmont Boulevard, on June 9, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
