Lesla M. Bancroft, 92 of St. Johns, MI died at her home on March 31, 2014. Lesla was born on December 19, 1921 in Ithaca, MI the daughter of Samuel E. and Ada B. (Brown) Carmon.
She was a homemaker and worked for Kroger's for 17 years, enjoyed quilting and porcelain painting. She loved her flowers and gardening and cooking for family and friends.
Lesla married Lyle Bancroft on Nov. 16 1940 in Duplain Twp. He preceded her in death in 1992.
Survived by her son Kim of St. Johns. Grandchildren, Sara (Rick) Sillman, Jessica (Brian) Fox, Lyle Parker, Trevor (Kim) Bancroft, Lora (Phil) Spears and Richie Beachler. 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kyla Beachler, 5 brothers and 6 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Gil Burgeson officiating. Burial will be at Duplain Cemetery.
