Elizabeth Lucy Kohr, 88 of New Cumberland, Pennsylvania went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 13, 2015 surrounded by her family at home. Born in Rush Township Centre County, Pennsylvania on April 23, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine Chessie. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Andrew A. Kohr Sr., 7 brothers, 4 sisters and 2 step-daughters. She is survived by her son Mark Anthony Kohr of New Cumberland, PA., daughter Rose Marie Murray of New Cumberland, PA., step-son Andrew A. Kohr Jr. of Enola, PA., and step-daughter Judy Caldwell of Shermansdale, PA., brother Steve Chessie of Ohio, grandson Jordan Andrew Murray and great-grandson Hunter Andrew Combs and many friends she considered as her family. She was a member of the St. Theresa Catholic Church of New Cumberland for many years. She was a former employee of the General Cigar Company of Philipsburg, PA. Elizabeth enjoyed helping out her friends and neighbors any way she could. As her final act of kindness in helping others, Elizabeth donated her body to Science Care, a medical research and education organization.
