Jody Barlow was a US Army Veteran who served with the 1st Special Forces in Iraq. Presently, Jody was an inspector on pipelines, and traveled the United States greatly because of this. Jody was married to Julia, with whom he enjoyed traveling, hiking, boating, and camping along with their dogs. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed mud riding with family and friends. Jody Barlow was a loving husband, and adored son, brother, grandson, and friend.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Derrick Q. Barlow.
Funeral services for Jody will be held at 11 am Friday, September 4th in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Nugent will officiate. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens of Lake Charles. Visitation will be in the funeral home 4 – 9 pm Thursday and resume Friday, 8 am until time of service at 11 am.
