ARTHUR E. WEBB, SR.
Arthur Edward Webb, Sr., 76, of 209 Powell Street, S. E., died Friday at his home after a lengthy illness.
He was a crossing watchman for the Nashville Chattanooga & St. Louis Railway.
A native of DeKalb County, he had lived in the Atlanta area ll of his life. He was a member of the West Atlanta Primitive Baptist Church for 50 years.
Funeral services will be hled at 2 p. m. Sunday at the West Atlanta Primitive Baptist Church. Elder Roy N. Mitchell will officiate. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Herbert E. Webb of Austell and A. E. Webb, Jr., of Marietta; a brother, L. E. Webb of Atlanta, and two sisters, Mrs. George Golden of Atlanta and MRs. Henry J. Pirkle of Alpharetta.
