Margaret I. Delawder, 84, of New Creek, WV, died Friday, December 22, 2006 at the Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, WV.

Born on June 5, 1922 at Upper Tract, WV, she was a daughter of the late Jesse L. and Cora Mae (Hott) Holloway. She also was preceded in death by her step-mother, Annie Holloway; her husband, Joseph Rosser Delawder on June 20, 1994; three sons, Roger Holloway and Toby and Michael Todd Delawder; a granddaughter, Jaci L. Delawder and five brothers, Charles, Ira, Harry, Walter and William Holloway.

Mrs. Delawder was a loving and dedicated homemaker, mother and grandmother and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to Nancy Hanks Post # 3518, VFW, Keyser.

Surviving are six sons, Jerry Delawder and wife Jean of Rome, GA, Danny Delawder and wife Lois of Keyser, James Delawder and wife Laura of New Creek, Johnny Delawder and fiance' Michelle Whiteman of Keyser, Joey Delawder and wife Paula of Rome, GA and Jesse Delawder and wife Libby of Burlington, WV; seven daughters, Nancy Bowman of Uniontown, Ohio, Sue Summers and husband Floyd of Burlington, Mary Penrod and husband Gary of Keyser, Penny Brafford and husband Steve of Keyser, Juanita Kiser and husband Keith of Glendale, AZ, Sherrie Delawder and friend Galen Cain of Arthur, WV and Candy Dove and friend Joe Malcolm of Points, WV; two brothers, James Holloway of Uniontown, Ohio and Jesse Holloway of Talmadge, Ohio and one sister, Virginia Spencer of Ridgeley, WV. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, 14 step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her loving companion, "Coco."

Friends were received at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Tuesday, December 26 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

Funeral services were conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Wednesday, December 27 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Randy Crowe officiating.

Interment was in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
