Visitation for Ada Alene Eads will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles Street) on Saturday morning, August 12, 2006 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park at 12:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Don Mushaney, Marty Courson, Scott Rohrbach, Toby Rohrbach, Cole Brydon and Thomas Gonsalez. Chaplain Mike Lynch will officiate. Ada was born March 10, 1919 in Moss, Tennessee to James and Tabitha Condra and she passed away August 9, 2006 in Bakersfield, California. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ancil Eads in 1996. She is survived by her daughter, Geraldine Swank; daughter and son-in-law, Emajean and Don Mushaney; granddaughter, Kelly Courson-Gonsalez and her husband, Thomas; grandson, Marty Courson; grandson, Scott Rohrbach and his wife, Lori; grandson, Toby Rohrbach and his wife, Polly; great-grandson, Cole Brydon; great-granddaughter, Quinn Rohrbach as well as numerous other relatives. Ada loved quilting. She made beautiful quilts for her daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a few lucky friends. Each stitch was done by hand, no sewing machine stitching here...the quilts will be treasured forever. She loved tending to her flowers but she got the most joy from her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she would brag about them to anyone who would listen. She will be greatly missed.
