Fabian Felix Gilbert, age 55, of Falmouth, Kentucky, died Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, in Edgewood, Kentucky. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 30, 1960, to Helen Lowery Mastin, of Pendleton County, and the late Felix Gilbert.
He is survived by: two sons, Troy Allen Gilbert and Fabian Kelly Gilbert, both of Flemingsburg; a daughter, Crystal (Rufus, Jr.) Wheeler, of Flemingsburg; two brothers, Thomas Freeman, of Falmouth, and Levi (Lisa) Gilbert, of Clermont County, Ohio; a sister, Vivian (John) White, of Harrison County; nine grandchildren, Taylor, Trevor, Savannah, Heaven, Trenton, Alexis, Matthew, Desiree and Angel; and many special friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Ware Funeral Home by Pastor Mike Coppersmith, with visitation at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, in Pendleton County. Active pallbearers will be Rufus Wheeler, Jr., Louie Gober, Sam McKinney, Ted Lowery, Bobby White, Isaac Gilbert, T.J. Freeman and John White. Honorary pallbearer will be Danny White.
