Mr. Cahill was employed as a Consultant in Project Management with Cartesian Consulting. He also enjoyed a second career as a Pampered Chef Consultant. But, his greatest passion was music. An avid singer through his school years, he went on to serve as a cantor/choir member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Parlin, St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Metuchen and St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Old Bridge where he also served as a Eucharistic Minister. In recent years, he has added the New Jersey Gay Men's Chorus to his musical resume.
Mr. Cahill is survived by his husband, Eduardo Figueras, his two sons; Richard and Brendan Cahill of Toms River, parents Richard M. Cahill, Sr. and Deborah Cahill of Parlin, his brother Robert M. Cahill and wife Christa of Fords, his two nieces Patricia and Bethanyas well as countless adoring friend and co-workers.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 9:00am from Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Ambrose RC Church in Old Bridge. Cremation will be private.
